Saving Grandma!

My wife's grandmother had a stroke and needed some extra help to keep her safe. One area in great need of a safety railing was the front porch. I was called upon with my welder and now her front railing is complete. Sorry for the dark picture I was using a cell phone camera.

Got Caught being good?

This was an idea we had to reward our kids for doing the good deeds that usually go unnoticed. My wife had the idea and of course I had to go to work in the shop. Here is what I built.

After I finished my wife went to work doing her crafty ideas. So some chalkboard paint and regular paint, not to mention a few other things, it now looks like this.

Watch out for those good kids now!!!!!!!!!

Princess Bed

We had a couple of gift cards to RC Willey, so we went to find out what we could get with them. Never thought we would buy a new bed for our little girl, but we all thought this bed was great.
We really liked her new princess bed, but there was one major problem. Every time the kids would play underneath it they would pull down the bed skirt. Well as you can imagine my wife and I got tired of putting it back up. Took me two days in the garage and a little imagination; however we resolved our problem. Now her bed looks more like this.

Certainly my wife needed to decorate or give it that final touch.

This was a small step as we are preparing for her little brother to go into this bed we modified a new bed for our little princess which I will post at a new time.
This was my second Land Rover Discovery. I began to modify it with a two inch lift, but when I started to look into rock sliders, bumpers, and roof racks I couldn't believe how much they wanted to charge for them, so I then decided to make my own version. I also decided to give my own twist to it.

Here is what the final product looks like.

This coffee table was inspired by kids. This table was built out of sturdy oak. It has a tempered glass top and instead of open sides it is enclosed on the sides with tempered glass. We lined the bottom with rock and are able to put anything on display without the kids being able to break it.

Metal Sculping

When I made this I had access to a Plasma Cutter. It is a coat rack using arrow heads for the hooks, and an old western scene with horses and teepee's. Made from steel and polished smooth for a unique look.
